Zelensky tells American pastor Graham about importance of Trump’s support

During a meeting with Franklin Graham, President of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse, President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of continued support from U.S. President Donald Trump and the American people. This was reported on the official website of the President on May 28, 2025.

Zelensky expressed his gratitude to the pastor “for the strong support from the American people, the White House, and President Trump.”

“We truly hope this support continues. It is very important to us,” he said.

Volodymyr Zelensky also thanked Franklin Graham personally for his humanitarian assistance to Ukraine. According to the Presidential press service, the meeting also included discussions on expanding humanitarian initiatives by American evangelicals.

As previously reported by the UOJ, Trump’s “spiritual advisor” assured that the claims about persecution of the Church in Ukraine were “fake.”
