On May 12, 2025, the OCU Synod heard a report from Epifaniy Dumenko about his visit to the USA and explained that the purpose of the trip was to “counter Russian hostile propaganda”.

During the Synod meeting, Dumenko spoke about his visit to the United States, which took place in February of this year.

The OCU delegation, led by Epifaniy, visited the U.S. as part of an international trip aimed, as emphasized in the Synod’s documents, at continuing “Ukraine’s peacekeeping efforts” and “countering Russian hostile propaganda.”

Earlier, the UOJ reported that in the U.S., Dumenko hinted at the need for Ukraine to regain nuclear weapons.
