The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and his wife intend to attend the funeral of Pope Francis, reports Glavcom citing Zelensky's advisor, Dmytro Lytvyn.

According to the Vatican, the funeral will take place on April 26. The mass will be led by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re. After the service, the coffin will be transported to the Papal Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore for burial.

It is worth noting that Donald and Melania Trump are going to attend the funeral of Pope Francis.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that Zelensky's advisor Podoliak called Pope Francis "pro-Russian" and stated about the "nullification of the reputation of the Holy See."
