On March 31, 2025, His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem and the Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre hosted His Beatitude Serbian Patriarch Porfirije with his delegation, according to the press service of the Jerusalem Patriarchate.

“This visit comes after the request of His Beatitude the Patriarch of Serbia expressed to His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem, to visit the Holy City of Jerusalem and the most Holy Tomb of Christ and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre,” the statement said.

The two patriarchs exchanged gifts and discussed matters of mutual interest.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Serbian Patriarch had discussed ending the war with Ukraine’s new ambassador.
