Sviatohirsk Lavra announces court hearing dates for Met. Arseniy’s case

On February 26 and 27, 2025, court sessions were supposed to take place in Kryvyi Rih and Sloviansk regarding the case of Metropolitan Arseniy, the abbot of Sviatohirsk Lavra. However, according to the monastery’s press service, the hearings did not take place due to technical reasons.
The Dniprovskyi Appellate Court of Kryvyi Rih is set to continue reviewing the appeals filed by the defense team against the Sloviansk court’s ruling to extend Metropolitan Arseniy’s pre-trial detention until March 30. The hearing is scheduled for Monday, March 3, at 2:00 PM.
The next preparatory online hearing of the Sloviansk City District Court, originally scheduled for February 27, has been postponed to March 11 at 1:00 PM.

As previously reported by the UOJ, the court has not permitted live streaming of Metropolitan Arseny’s hearings.
