After a phone conversation with Volodymyr Zelensky, President Donald Trump said the discussion "went very well" and that the Ukrainian president, "like President Putin, wants to make PEACE." Trump shared this statement on his Truth Social page.

Detailing his conversation with Zelensky, the U.S. president noted: "We discussed a variety of topics having to do with the War, but mostly, the meeting that is being set up on Friday in Munich, where Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will lead the Delegation."

"I am hopeful that the results of that meeting will be positive," added President Trump.

The U.S. president concluded: "It is time to stop this ridiculous War, where there has been massive, and totally unnecessary, DEATH and DESTRUCTION. God bless the people of Russia and Ukraine!"

As the UOJ previously reported, the U.S. Vice President has stated that there is much more to do to ensure religious freedom.
